According to Scottish Sun journalist David Friel, Glasgow Celtic are seriously interested in G. Gineitis' services.

The scouts of the Scottish champions are impressed by the skills of the 22-year-old Lithuanian midfielder.

It is also noted that G. Gineitis continues to be monitored by Bundesliga clubs.

Celtic secured the Scottish championship title and a place in the main stage of the Champions League by defeating Hearts at the end of the season.
