The Birmingham Aston Villa club dominated Freiburg in the UEFA Europa League final with a score of 3:0.

The head coach of the Freiburg team, Julian Schuster, urged his players to look at everything positively:

"At this moment, there is no happiness. We lost the final, and it hurts because of that.

Before the match, I said that we believed we could win. We played well for 40 minutes, but everything changed."

"During the first goal, Villa executed the set piece well. The second was already our mistake.

When we were trailing 0:2 after the break, we saw the true character of the team, and the guys performed well."

"In the end, things did not go as we wanted. In a few days, we will understand what we achieved with our fans, but right now it hurts."

Freiburg finished seventh in the German Bundesliga and will compete in the Conference League.
