Kaunas Žalgiris futsal team has been joined by a promising 19-year-old

In the upcoming 2026/2027 season, 19-year-old Merūnas Stalmokas will wear the jersey of the "Kauno Žalgiris" futsal team.

Last season, the young footballer represented the "Gargždų Pramogų" team. Throughout his career, M. Stalmokas has also worn the jersey of the Lithuanian boys' U-19 futsal national team and received calls to the Lithuanian men's futsal national team.

The new player from Žalgiris stated that the decision to join "Kauno Žalgiris" was influenced by the opportunity to develop and pursue the highest goals.

"I wanted to join 'Kauno Žalgiris' because it is a great place to grow as a player and pursue high goals not only in Lithuania but also on the international stage," said M. Stalmokas.

Talking about his experience so far, the footballer emphasized that it will help him integrate into the new team more quickly.

"Playing in the national teams provided a lot of useful experience and confidence. I hope this will help me integrate into the team faster and be beneficial in achieving common goals," said the new player of "Kauno Žalgiris."
