The Senegal national team did everything in its power to secure third place in Group I and attempt to advance to the World Cup knockout stages.

The African team triumphed 5-0 over Iraq.

Among the winners, H. Diarra (4'), I Sarr (56'), P. Gueye (59' and 71'), and I. Ndiaye (82') stood out.

Now the Senegalese will await results from other groups.
