"Tottenham” team will have to get by for a while without one of its captains.

Journalists Alasdair Gold and David Ornstein report that shoulder-injured James Maddison will be out for at least a couple of weeks.

The Englishman took to the field in the 68th minute of the match against Brentford. He injured his shoulder after a fall.

This season was supposed to be a fresh start for Maddison, as he had to recover from a knee ligament injury last season.
