Leeds United club will soon be joined by a new defender.

This team will be joined by Borussia Mönchengladbach player Nico Elvedi.

As reported by the sports publication Sky Sports, Leeds will pay nearly seven million pounds sterling for this player.

The Swiss player will also sign a long-term contract.

29-year-old Nico Elvedi has played for Mönchengladbach since 2015 and has scored 19 goals in 364 matches.

In the last season, the defender scored twice in 36 matches.

The Swiss player played six matches in the FIFA World Cup.
