A mini football miracle took place in Lithuania's capital, Vilnius.
Vilnius "Žalgiris" gifted its spectators an incredible spectacle – they won the second match against Tbilisi "Dinamo" 7:2, thus overcoming the guests from Georgia with an aggregate score of 7:5.
In the 9th minute, Nikola Petković missed a penalty kick, but after 20 minutes, the "Žalgiris" players scored their first goal following a precise shot by Stanislav Bilenkyi.
After an excellent performance by "Žalgiris", it was time to respond to the guests – before halftime, Leo Santos scored, trying to provoke the home team’s fans.
In the 59th minute, N. Petković finally found the net, and two minutes later, Teixeira scored – "Žalgiris" closed in on the equalizer in the series.
Mate Vatsadze's long shot eased "Dinamo's" situation once again.
However, the Vilnius team did not give up. In the 73rd minute, Petković was accurate.
In the 82nd minute, S. Bilenkyi scored another goal, leveling the series score.
The "Žalgiris" player eventually completed his hat trick, and Nemanja Mihajlović also scored, making history for "Žalgiris".
