Newcastle will pay €60 million for Freiburg midfielder

"Newcastle” will be joined by a well-known newcomer.

Journalist Florian Plettenberg reports that the Premier League club has convinced the Freiburg team to sell midfielder Johan Manzambi.

The 20-year-old Swiss national team player will cost the English 60 million euros.

The player, currently competing in the World Cup, was also sought after by Birmingham's Aston Villa.

J. Manzambi is a graduate of the Servette academy, who joined the Bundesliga club in 2023.
