G. Xhaka reached an agreement with the Chelsea club

The London club "Chelsea" will soon have an experienced midfielder.

As reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano, the "aristocrats" have reached a verbal agreement with Granit Xhaka.

The Swiss player played for Sunderland last season.

Mr. Xhaka wanted to play under head coach Xabi Alonso.

They worked together at Bayer Leverkusen from 2023 to 2025.

Granit Xhaka also played for London "Arsenal" from 2016 to 2023, scoring 23 goals in 297 matches.

Last season, the midfielder scored once in 36 matches.
