FK "Kauno Žalgiriui" for the last one and a half years represented Damjan Pavlović will continue his career abroad. The Lithuanian champions and the French second division club "Rodez" reached an agreement on the player's transfer terms.
The midfielder, who holds Belgian and Serbian citizenship, arrived in Kaunas before the start of the 2025 season, became the Lithuanian champion with the team the same year, and in early 2026 fought for the LFF Supercup, where he was recognized as the MVP of the match in the final.
"During the summer transfer window, we were very active, and this is also related to Damjan's departure. He arrived in Lithuania with clear goals, and having achieved them, he opened up opportunities for himself, and the club, receiving an offer from France, agreed with him," said the club's sports director Darius Šinkūnas.
Wearing the "Kauno Žalgiris" jersey, D. Pavlović played a total of 56 matches, during which he scored 2 goals and provided 10 assists.
"Kauno Žalgiris" thanks D. Pavlović for the years spent at the club and wishes him the best of luck in his further career.
