London's "Chelsea" winger Mykhailo Mudryk is back on the field. The Ukrainian's suspension for doping has been reduced by two and a half years.

The Ukrainian national team player had not played since December 2024, when he received a four-year ban due to a positive doping test result.

During this entire period, he trained individually.

"We are pleased that this story has finally come to an end and he can return to football immediately. Throughout the entire process, we supported Mykhailo, while fully respecting the principles of the anti-doping system and legal processes.

We positively assess the acknowledgment that improved research standards, allowing for more reliable tests, mean that if the player's sample had been tested under today's technical requirements, it would not have been deemed positive.

Now our goal is to help Mudryk reintegrate into the team and revive his career," wrote the "Chelsea" team.
