The Ghanaian coach Carlos Quieroz was quite outraged by the VAR work during the match against England.

The coach believes that a penalty should have been awarded against the England team when Ezri Konsa played dangerously, and Jude Bellingham should have seen a red card – for the same reason that Miguel Almiron received one in this tournament.

"Is VAR still working? It’s obvious there was a penalty that should have been awarded, as well as an obvious red card. If VAR hadn't gone for coffee at that moment, a penalty would have been awarded against the opponent, and we would have won the match.

England was very lucky. I would have also liked to have some coffee.. there was a clear penalty,” said the experienced coach of the Ghana national team.
