There will be no more questions regarding the timing of the Mexico and England match.

The Athletic journalist David Ornstein confirmed that the England and Mexico match will take place on Sunday at 6 PM local Mexico time, as planned. In Lithuania, that is 3 AM from Sunday to Monday.

This decision was made after extensive discussions. In Mexico, everyone had already come to terms with the fact that the match time would be significantly moved earlier, as reported by the media.

Some sources were also convinced that the match would be rescheduled to 12 PM local time.

Leaving the match at the same time carries the risk of thunderstorms. Nevertheless, the organizers and FIFA accept this risk.
