C. Gakpo – one step away from moving to Man City

With a wide-open wallet, the "Man City" team may soon add "Liverpool" forward Cody Gakpo.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the "city dwellers" agree to pay the "Reds'" requested sum of £85 million for the player.

The Netherlands national team player had previously decided that he would prefer to move to the team coached by Enzo Maresca rather than stay at "Liverpool" or choose "Tottenham."

"Man City" has once again accelerated negotiations after receiving positive signals from the player's camp.

However, the "Liverpool" team would like to find a replacement for the 27-year-old player before granting permission for him to leave.

Bradley Barcola, who will soon undergo a medical examination, is not considered a direct candidate to replace C. Gakpo.
