Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois achieved an outstanding feat.

It was calculated that the Belgian drew level with the legendary Miguel Ángel and became the third goalkeeper in the club’s history to have played the most matches.

The 34-year-old goalkeeper reached this milestone in Sunday’s match, in which Real defeated Racing Santander 3–0.

The Belgian has already made 346 appearances for the Madrid club.

Among Real’s goalkeepers, only Iker Casillas (725) and Paco Buyo (454) have played more matches.
