Real Madrid respects Vinicius, Kylian Mbappé, and Ibrahima Konaté's decision not to appropriately wear jerseys with a message supporting the city of Ceuta before Tuesday's match against Elche.
Before the La Liga match, both teams received instructions to wear this kit, implementing an initiative proposed by the Valencia association.
Previously, this organization had held a similar campaign together with the clubs Levante and Barcelona.
The proposal was approved by Real, and the royal team's players were informed about it even before the match.
However, three famous Madrid club footballers tucked the bottom of their jerseys so that the supportive messages would not be properly visible.
According to the media, the decision was conceived by Vinicius and suggested to his like-minded teammates, and later K. Mbappé stated that he supports both the city of Ceuta and the refugees from Africa who have flooded this area.
