"Kauno Žalgiris" debuted in the UEFA Champions League qualification.

The Lithuanian champions drew 1:1 at home in their first match of the first qualification round against the club "Drita" from Kosovo.

The hosts were the first to score when Amine Benchaib sent the ball into the net with a fantastic strike after a corner.

The guests equalized in the 82nd minute when Blerim Krasniqi headed the ball into the net.

The return match will take place on July 14 in Kosovo.
