V. Dambrauskas and 'Sabah' became champions of Azerbaijan

The best Lithuanian football coach Valdas Dambrauskas has solidified his excellent season in Azerbaijan.

After Agdam’s Qarabağ's 1:2 loss to Neftçi, it can be officially announced that the Baku Sabah team, coached by Valdas Dambrauskas, has triumphed in the Azerbaijani league.

Qarabağ will not be able to eliminate the 13-point deficit against Sabah in the remaining 3 rounds.

To achieve a perfect season, Sabah only lacks the Azerbaijani Cup. The cup final will take place on May 13, where the Lithuanian team will face the Zira players, who are in 5th place in the league.

Next season, the Baku team will participate in the Champions League qualifiers. They, like Kauno Žalgiris, should not be seeded in the draw for the first qualifying round.
