R. De Zerbi names new captain of the Tottenham team

London's Tottenham team has a new captain after Cristian Romero's departure.

At a press conference, the team's coach Roberto De Zerbi announced that the new captain is center-back Mickey van de Ven.

Before C. Romero, the team's captain was Heung-min Son, and Hugo Lloris also held the position for a long time.

This season, the vice-captain will be Pedro Porro, and Ben Davies, James Maddison, and 20-year-old Archie Gray, who wore the captain's armband in friendly matches, will also assist.

"Why five people? Because I wanted to have as many captains as possible. They all deserve to be captains,” said R. De Zerbi.
