Public statement by M. Salah – about Liverpool's style of play and the final goal before leaving © PA

Mohamed Salah, leaving the "Liverpool" team, made a public announcement on social media.

It is no secret that the long-time leader of the "Liverpool" team has a poor relationship with coach Arne Slot, who is expected to remain at the helm of the club next season.

Salah spoke about the team's style of play and one goal: "I have seen how this club has transformed from doubters to believers, and from believers to champions. It took hard work, and I have always done everything to help the club get there."

Experiencing another defeat this season was very painful for us, and our fans do not deserve that. I want to see "Liverpool" playing active attacking football again, which opponents fear. This is the football I know how to play, and it must be our identity, which needs to be restored for the long term. There can be no debate. Everyone who joins the club must adapt.

Winning a few matches here and there is not what "Liverpool" is about. All teams win matches. The name "Liverpool" means a lot to me, as well as to my family. I want them to succeed even after I leave. As I have said, qualifying for the Champions League is the minimum expectation, and I will do everything to make it happen," the Egyptian wrote before the last round.

This post was supported by such "Liverpool" players as Dominik Szoboszlai, Andy Robertson, Curtis Jones, and Jeremie Frimpong.
