In the past, famous Madrid "Real" player Jorge Valdano took issue with the current team's coach José Mourinho's statements.

A few days ago, the Portuguese publicly defended his pupil Vinícius.

"It shouldn't be surprising that "Real" fans and the coach support the Brazilian.

However, we must not forget that just three months ago, when he was coaching Lisbon's "Benfica," J. Mourinho spoke very differently about Vinícius," J. Valdano reminded.

"I believe the forward will gradually understand that he needs to direct his energy toward football.
