UEFA president Aleksander Čeferin does not plan to become FIFA head Gianni Infantino's successor.

However, the Slovenian believes that changes in the global football organization are inevitable.

"I am not interested in this for two reasons.

The first - I love UEFA and I enjoy working here. I think at some point... you also need to start enjoying life a little.

The second reason - I will be significantly more reliable if I do not get involved in this position," he said.

"Now there are two options. One - G. Infantino understands that he no longer has support and steps down. The second option - he runs in the elections in March. However, in that case, I think another person will compete against the Swiss. For now, I do not know who," noted A. Čeferin.
