Borussia counts financial losses

The Dortmund "Borussia" team reported unpleasant information.

In the 2025–2026 financial year, the Bundesliga club experienced a financial loss of 21.7 million euros.

This is a significant change compared to previous years' data, when a profit of 6.5 million euros was earned.

The total revenue of "Borussia" decreased by 12% – to 460.5 million euros.

The main reason for the financial decline was the early exit of the Dortmund team from the UEFA Champions League.

However, the Germans are not falling into despair – they predict that this season the club's revenue will reach 485–495 million euros, and they expect to finish the financial year with a balanced result or earn up to 10 million euros in profit.
