Former "Liverpool" club coach Arne Slot commented to the sports publication "Voetbal International" about his desire to continue leading the club:

"At this stage of my career, I would much rather be on the training ground with my team every day.

This is something that is very difficult to achieve when you are coaching a national team."

"It would be a great honor for me to represent the country as a coach.

To be honest, this is not the right moment for me."

Arne Slot worked at "Liverpool" since 2024 and contributed to the English Premier League title.

Last season, the "scousers" finished in fifth place.
