The president of the German Football Federation, Bernd Neuendorf, and vice president Hans-Joachim Watzke are on their way to New York.

According to "Bild," German football representatives are flying to New York with the goal of signing a contract with Jürgen Klopp, who is set to become the new head coach of the German national team. The newspaper also revealed other interesting details.

The contract for J. Klopp is expected to last for 4 years – until the next World Cup.

The German will no longer lead the "Red Bull" football system but will remain as an ambassador for the brand, so no additional compensation will need to be paid.

Meanwhile, the former "Liverpool" and "Borussia" coach will earn slightly more than 7 million per year. Julian Nagelsmann earned exactly 7 million.

Joining J. Klopp's coaching staff will be longtime specialist assistants Pepijn Lijnders and Peter Krawietz.
