Portugal's national team, eliminated in the round of 16 of the World Cup, will soon introduce a new coach.
According to the publication "A Bola," the European team will be led by the very experienced Jorge Jesus, who will take over from the outgoing Roberto Martinez.
The 71-year-old Portuguese is expected to meet with the leaders of his country's federation in the coming days to discuss the final details and then officially sign the contract.
In the past, he has successfully worked with clubs in Brazil, Portugal, and Saudi Arabia.
J. Jesus has spent the last three years in the Middle East, directing "Al Hilal" and "Al Nassr" teams.
