Last night, the group stage of the world football championship concluded and all the pairs for the Round of 16 were determined.
In the first knockout stage, fans will witness unpredictable matches between Portugal and Croatia, the Netherlands and Morocco, Brazil and Japan, among other encounters.
Football fans are particularly interested in the battle between Argentina and Portugal, which could only happen if they play in the final or battle for the bronze medals.
It is noted that several surprises can come from African teams in the world championship.
African teams performed successfully in the group stage – a total of nine teams advanced to the knockout stage: South Africa, Morocco, Ivory Coast, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Senegal, Algeria, Egypt, Green Cape, and Ghana.
