J. Pedro: 'I wish success to everyone representing the Brazilian national team'

London's Chelsea club forward Joao Pedro commented on Brazil national team head coach Carlo Ancelotti's decision to not include him in the World Cup squad:

"I have always tried to give my all.

Unfortunately, I was unable to fulfill my dream of representing the Brazil national team at the World Cup, but I am calm and focused, as always."

"Joy and disappointment are part of football. From now on, I wish good luck to everyone who will play for the national team.

I will simply be a regular fan who will support the team and hope that they achieve the sixth World Cup title."

24-year-old Joao Pedro has scored twenty goals in 49 matches this season.
