On Saturday in the earliest "Premier" league match, two giants of the championship faced off – "Liverpool" and "Chelsea", both fighting for a spot in the Champions League.
The teams parted peacefully – 1:1.
In the 6th minute, Ryan Gravenberch scored a goal with a magnificent shot after a pass from Rio Ngumo.
Later, "Chelsea" recovered, and in the 35th minute, Enzo Fernández equalized the score.
In the second half, two goals were disallowed. Initially, the referees ruled out a precise shot from Cole Palmer, and later Curtis Jones also remained goal-less.
With these unfortunate results, "Chelsea's" chances to fight for the Champions League diminish, while "Liverpool's" positions remain quite secure.
