L. Messi: 'The best players must play in the World Cup'

The Miami "Inter" club and legendary player Lionel Messi commented on Neymar's chances to compete in the World Football Championship:

"We want the best players to participate in this tournament, and Neymar, regardless of his form, will always be one of them.

It would be wonderful to see him at the World Championship, as he means a lot to Brazil and football."

"I still believe that Brazil is among the favorites and has the players needed to compete for the title in any major tournament."

34-year-old Neymar has not played for the Brazil national team since October 2023.

The "Santos" forward scored five goals in 12 matches this year.
