President of the Green Cape: we have a 100% chance of defeating Argentina

Before the World Cup round of 16 match against the Argentina national team, Cape Verde's president Jose Maria Neves encouraged his compatriots.

According to him, the tournament debutants can overcome the defending champions from Argentina.

"We have a 100 percent chance of defeating Argentina. We came to the World Cup to make history and fight with the champions.

I believe we can win 1:0,” said the president.

"The team came here only to win. Many did not believe in our chances of reaching the knockout stage, but we proved that such a determined team can achieve anything,” explained J. M. Neves.

The match between Argentina and Cape Verde will be played on July 4 at 1:00 AM Lithuanian time.
