In the last World Cup, the Netherlands team that did not disappoint in the mountains presented its new coach.
It has been officially announced that the successor to Ronald Koeman is Spanish football legend Xavi.
The 46-year-old specialist has committed to working with the "Oranje" team until the end of the 2030 World Cup.
"It is a great honor for me to become the head coach of the Netherlands national team.
The development of me as a player and a coach has been greatly influenced by the famous coaches of this country, especially Louis van Gaal, under whom I debuted in the main team of Barcelona, as well as Frank Rijkaard.
The Netherlands has a rich football culture and a clear vision that is very close to mine: attacking football based on ball control, creativity, passion, and belief in one’s abilities,” said Xavi.
