A new face among the shareholders of Madrid's Atletico.

It is reported that the most valuable player of the NBA regular season, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, has invested in the football club of the Spanish capital.

Oklahoma City's Thunder guard stated in an official announcement: "I am thrilled to join the shareholders of Madrid's Atletico. This is a club with a very rich history in European football.

I am grateful for this opportunity to be part of the club's future."

The amount of money that S. Gilgeous-Alexander contributed to the development of the club has not been disclosed.
