The Lithuania national team will play its second match of this UEFA Nations League cycle on Sunday afternoon.

Edgaras Jankauskas' team will host the Azerbaijan team at the Darius and Girėnas Stadium in Kaunas and will aim for a second victory in this tournament. It is worth recalling that in the first match, the Lithuanians defeated the Liechtenstein players 2:0 away on Thursday.

On Saturday, the Lithuanians held a training session at the Darius and Girėnas Stadium, before which the national team coach Edgaras Jankauskas shared his thoughts at an official press conference.

"It can be said that the match against Liechtenstein did not require too many resources, the players achieved the necessary result, and some of them may have subconsciously already been thinking about tomorrow's meeting, which is completely logical.
