The Spanish national football team began the UEFA Nations League Division A battles with a dramatic victory.

On Saturday, in the Group A3 match held at London's Wembley Stadium, the Spaniards overcame the English players 3:2 after a fierce battle.

The match started very unsuccessfully for the hosts – in the 2nd minute, Lamine Yamal put Spain ahead.

However, the English managed to recover and turned the score around before halftime. In the 36th minute, Anthony Gordon scored, and just four minutes later, Harry Kane put the hosts ahead – 2:1.

In the second half, the guests regained the initiative.

In the 60th minute, Alex Baena equalized the score, and in the 74th minute, Mikel Oyarzabal scored the winning goal for the Spanish team.

England will play their next Nations League match away against the Czech Republic on September 29, while Spain will face Croatia on the same day.
