The path of Lithuanian football champion FK "Kauno Žalgiris" continues in Europe. The green and whites finished their campaign in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers and will continue their journey in the UEFA Europa League.

In the last qualifying round of the Europa League, the Kaunas team faces another serious opponent – the Turkish giant Istanbul "Beşiktaş".

Like the series against "Klaksvik" and Zagreb "Dinamo", Lithuanian football fans will be able to watch these matchups involving the Lithuanian champions on free television channels.

The broadcasts of "Kauno Žalgiris" Europa League qualifying matches will be available on channels of the TV3 media group.

The first match from the home stadium of "Beşiktaş", which has a capacity of over 40,000 and is known for one of the hottest atmospheres in all of Europe, will be broadcast live on the TV6 channel on Thursday at 19:50.

Meanwhile, exactly a week later, on August 27, the return match from the Kaunas Darius and Girėnas Stadium will be shown on TV3, and before the match, football fans will also have the opportunity to watch the green and whites' journey to Europe studio.

"Kauno Žalgiris" opponents have already successfully overcome two UEFA Europa League qualifying stages this summer, eliminating Herning "Midtjylland" from Denmark and "Hradec Králové" from the Czech Republic.

The impressively budgeted "Beşiktaş" was also very active in the player market this summer, adding players such as Leandro Trossard and Dušan Vlahović to their squad.
