J. Zirkzee – one step away from returning to Italy

Manchester United club's unnecessary forward Joshua Zirkzee is set to return to Italy.

Fabrizio Romano reports that the 25-year-old Dutchman is close to a move to Fiorentina.

The Italian club has submitted a €5 million season-long loan offer and agrees to cover the entire forward's salary. The agreement would also include conditions under which Fiorentina would fully buy out J. Zirkzee next summer.

The Dutchman arrived at Manchester United in the summer of 2024 from Bologna and played 75 matches for the first team, during which he scored nine goals.
