Madrid's „Real“ coach Jose Mourinho commented on the poor performance of forward Vinicius and the constant discontent of fans towards him.

„It hurts and saddens me that I understand that he wants to play his best, wants to be that person who wins matches and decides their outcome.

It's very sad to see what kind of pain he is going through.

This is - an extraordinary young man, incredibly hardworking, trying to regain his best form.

I never criticize Madrid's fans - I only respect them.

However, my heart breaks seeing such a player, who this year is not the incredible Vinicius, that we know. It's heartbreaking to see that people, influenced by many of you, do not support him.

He deserves support. He wants nothing more than to again be the Vinicius who brought so much joy to Madrid's fans,“ Mourinho stated.
