One of the leaders of the England national team, Jude Bellingham, is delighted not only to have reached the World Cup semifinals.
After a tough quarterfinal match against Norway (2:1), it became clear that the 23-year-old talent matched the achievement of Argentine Diego Maradona.
In 1986, the football legend scored doubles in two consecutive World Cup knockout matches. Back then, England and Belgium were the teams that suffered from D. Maradona.
Meanwhile, J. Bellingham has also left a mark on the Norwegian and Mexican teams.
Before the semifinal match against Argentina, J. Bellingham already has six goals and one assist to his name.
