Morocco – in the next stage of the world championship.
In their last group match, the African champions defeated the Haitian national team 4:2, which scored their first goal in the World Cup in 52 years.
In the 10th minute, a ball from Morocco's goalkeeper Bono was heading into their own goal – Haiti surged ahead.
In the 39th minute, Achraf Hakimi equalized the score.
In the 43rd minute, Haiti surged ahead again – a long-range shot was accurate from Wilson Isidor. Soon after, the "status quo" was restored – the leader of Morocco in this championship, Ismail Sabiri, scored.
In the 78th minute, Soufiane Rahimi helped Morocco take the lead.
Gessime Yasimi's goal in the 89th minute closed the question of the match winner.
In Group C, Morocco finished in second place, only behind Brazil.
