Barcelona club midfielder Fermín López commented on Rodri's arrival to this team and the number 16 he took:

I am very happy that Rodri has arrived. He called me and asked if he could take my number.

From now on, I will wear the number 7 and I'm glad to give number 16 to Rodri. He deserves it.
