Celje and three Lithuanians - one victory away from the Champions League

In the upcoming Champions League season, there may be an incredibly large Lithuanian contingent.

The step towards the most prestigious European club tournament was taken not only by Valdas Dambrauskas' coached "Sabah", but also by Slovenia's champions "Celje" with three Lithuanians in their squad.

In the second leg, "Celje" defeated "Ararat-Armenia" 2:0 and overcame their opponents with an aggregate score of 3:2.

The Lithuanians did not score any goals, but all three – Armandas Kučys, Artemijus Tutyshkin, and Pijus Širvys – started the match in the starting eleven.

In the decisive stage, a challenge awaits against Bratislava's "Slovan".
