Birmingham's Aston Villa club triumphed against Freiburg in the UEFA Europa League final with a score of 3:0.

The captain of Villa, John McGinn, invited Prince William to celebrate this title:

"He is a classic gentleman. Before the match, Prince William was in our locker room. He is a big fan of the club."

"He is just a normal guy. It's great to feel his support and I hope it continues."

Tonight, Prince William will be able to have some drinks with us and maybe use his credit card at the end of the evening."

Prince William has long been known as a devoted Villa fan.

Birmingham's Aston Villa previously contested for a European title in 1982.
