PSG extended their dominance in the Champions League tournament.
On Saturday, the French team defeated London’s Arsenal in Budapest's stadium after a series of penalties, winning gold medals in the championship for the second consecutive year. The regular time and extra time ended in a 1:1 draw.
The London team surprised their opponents right at the start of the match.
Kai Havertz took the ball in midfield, and after running towards the French goal, easily beat Matvey Safonov - 1:0.
Arsenal defended confidently, and right at the end of the first half, Kai Havertz had another chance.
In the 65th minute, PSG had a great opportunity - Cristian Mosquera fouled Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in the penalty area, and the referee awarded a penalty kick.
Ousmane Dembélé did not miss and easily beat David Raya (1:1).
At the end of the half, the French team launched several dangerous attacks, but neither Vitinha nor Khvicha Kvaratskhelia could hit their target.
