Mikel Arteta is calling up another versatile defender to his squad.

Journalist David Ornstein reports that Arsenal has reached an agreement with Aston Villa for the acquisition of Ezri Konsa.

The 28-year-old Englishman will cost the Gunners £51 million, excluding bonuses.

Konsa played a significant role in the England national team at the last World Cup. He has been the main center-back for Aston Villa for several years.

This Englishman can play not only in the center of defense but also on the right side.
