The Munich "Bayern" claims the title of the German Supercup named after the legendary footballer Franz Beckenbauer.
The season in Germany started with the Supercup final, where "Bayern" defeated Dortmund's "Borussia" 2:1.
The "Bavarians" started the match very strongly. In the 28th minute, Nathaniel Brown scored, and in injury time of the first half, Michael Olise added another goal.
In the 75th minute, "Borussia" reduced the deficit - Fabio Silva was accurate.
In the 90th minute, the Dortmund team was reduced to ten men - Ramy Bensebaini received a red card for a rough foul.
In injury time, Maximilian Beier had a wonderful opportunity, but his shot flew over the goal, and the "Bayern" team triumphed. The goal would have determined a penalty shootout to decide the winner.
The Bundesliga season will begin next week.
