One of the biggest talents in the Premier League, Adam Wharton, is not expected to change clubs this summer.

Journalist David Ornstein reported that Manchester City showed significant interest in Wharton, but Crystal Palace declined to negotiate the midfielder's departure.

The new Crystal Palace coach, Pierre Sage, also spoke about the Englishman's future.

"We sold serious players, but now I think it's not yet time to sell Wharton. Adam can play at a big club, but I believe that another year with us, another year in a different dynamic, will be beneficial for him, and we definitely need him,” said the French strategist.
