The coach of the Croatian national team Zlatko Dalić was not satisfied with the performance of his players against the powerful England team.

In the World Cup Group L match, the Croats created excellent goal opportunities and only after a tough battle lost 2:4 to the "Three Lions" team.

"In the second half, we performed very poorly.

We conceded two goals during set pieces, and although we looked quite good in the first half, we lacked precision in the final phases of our attacks.

The third conceded goal? I can't comment much, there was a pass made from deep in the field, and our positioning was not correct," said Z. Dalić.

The Croats will play their second tournament match against Panama.
