Wayne Rooney spoke about whether he would like to receive a Premier League winner's medal if certain titles were stripped from Manchester City due to 114 financial violations.

I look at everything from the player's perspective. They stepped onto the pitch and won the league while we finished the season in second place.

We were not first, so why would I want a medal for coming in second place?, - rhetorically asked W. Rooney.

Manchester United is the club that finished ahead of the Cityzens the most times until 2018.
