"Tottenham” has gotten a bit closer to acquiring Sandro Tonali.

According to journalist David Ornstein from "The Athletic,” "Tottenham” has started official negotiations with "Newcastle United” regarding the acquisition of S. Tonali.

The London club aims to finalize this transfer before a greater "Manchester City” intervention in the situation. They would also like to see the 26-year-old Italian in their lineup.

Meanwhile, Gianluca Di Marzio states that both sides may reach an agreement at £80 million. "Tottenham” is currently offering £75 million, while "Newcastle” wants £85 million, but may lower their demand.
